Toya Gama (Drinking Water Supply System UGM) has a laboratory which is called Mini Lab Toya Gama. This laboratory is used for daily testing of drinking water from every point of the installation of SPAM. Mini Lab Toya Gama situated in the operational building to facilitate periodic checking. The tools used in the test are already sufficient, among of them are multi tester to measure pH, conductivity and total dissolved substances; several reaction tubes to see the substance changes contained in the sample water and some other types of tools. The parameters tested in regular testing in Mini Lab Toya Gama is the smell, color, total dissolved solids, viscosity, taste, temperature, residual chlorine, pH and conductivity.
Periodic testing for drinking water generated by Toya Gama is not only done per day. It is also conducted in every 3 (three) months. Testing per 3 (three) months is conducted in LPPT UGM.
